Implementation of the Service (Section 14 (2) in conjunction with Annex 3 Clause 2 BaFG)

Explanations on the implementation of the service: Our online shop is used entirely via web-based platforms on common browsers on desktop devices and mobile devices (such as smartphones and tablets). End consumers can browse the product range, add items to the shopping cart with a click, and complete the order process autonomously and purely digitally by entering their contact details and selecting a payment option. The entire process requires no physical interaction and is optimized for operation with assistive technologies.

How shopping in our store works:

1.      Finding products: Select a category from the main menu or use the search. Use the "Skip to content" link at the top of the page to bypass the navigation.

2.      Selecting a product: On the product page, select a variant (e.g., size, wood type) if available, and the quantity. Use "Add to cart" to place the product in the shopping cart.

3.      Checking the shopping cart: In the shopping cart, you can change quantities or remove products.

4.      Completing the order: Click "Checkout" to enter your contact and delivery details, select the shipping method and a payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay), and complete the order with the order button.

5.      Confirmation: After ordering, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Information on shipping, payment, returns, and withdrawal can be found at any time via the links in the footer (Shipping, Right of Withdrawal, Terms and Conditions, Contact Information).

If you need support when ordering, you can also place your order by phone at +43 (0) 512 9007 444 or by email at office@4betterdays.com. We are happy to help.

Applicable Accessibility Requirements

Our online shop is an electronic commerce service as defined by the Accessibility Act (BaFG), through which Austria implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

The technical benchmarks are the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA and the harmonized European Standard EN 301 549.

Compliance with Accessibility Requirements (Section 14 (2) in conjunction with Annex 3 Clause 3 BaFG)

This website complies with the accessibility requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG). The technical implementation is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 at conformance level AA) and the standard EN 301 549.

The shop is based on the Shopify platform. Compliance with the requirements is ensured in particular by the following measures:

•       Keyboard operability: All interactive elements, forms, and the order process can be operated without a mouse using only the keyboard. A "Skip to content" link allows for skipping the navigation.

•       Screen reader compatibility: Images have descriptive alternative text, form fields are clearly labeled, and the HTML code is structured according to standards (headings, lists, landmarks).

•       Visual accessibility: The contrast between text and background meets the statutory minimum requirements (at least 4.5:1), and content can be enlarged without loss of information.

•       Understandability: The pages have a consistent layout, the language of the website is identified as German, and input errors in forms are displayed and explained. There are no time limits that make purchasing impossible.

•       Responsive design: The shop adapts to the screen sizes of smartphones, tablets, and desktops.

•       Alternative contact channels: Orders and inquiries are also possible by phone and email.

Status of Compatibility with Requirements

The online shop is partially compliant with the requirements of the BaFG.

Non-accessible content

The following content may not yet be fully accessible. We are continuously working on eliminating these barriers:

•       Third-party content: Integrated services such as review widgets (Trusted Shops), the cookie banner, as well as payment services (e.g., PayPal, Klarna) are provided by external providers. We have limited influence over their accessibility.

•       Images in product descriptions: Some individual, especially older products, may still lack meaningful alternative text, or information may be included only as a graphic.

•       Documents: Downloadable documents such as PDF product data sheets or assembly instructions from manufacturers may not be accessible.

•       Image galleries and sliders: Some individual interactive elements may not be fully operable with a keyboard or screen reader.

If you require information from this content in an accessible format, please contact us. We will be happy to provide the information in an alternative way.
