Elmar Frischmann - Founder of 4betterdays

Elmar Frischmann, born in 1969, grew up in the magnificent Tyrolean mountain landscape of the Ötztal Alps. His passion for nature, sports, and craftsmanship was thus instilled in him from birth. It is no wonder that Elmar Frischmann founded the online sales portal 4betterdays.com.

His career initially took him to the company Escom in Vienna, where he was trained in all aspects of PCs, including DOS programming. He then moved to Rank Xerox and completed an internationally focused management training program there. Most recently, he was the director of Rank Xerox in Salzburg.

Due to a skiing accident that left his younger brother confined to a wheelchair, Elmar changed his perspective and founded the ICC Internet Advertising Agency GmbH & CO KG (www.icc.at in 1998, primarily to provide a suitable workplace for his brother and later for another acquaintance in a wheelchair. In addition, Elmar had brought the former ICA call center back from the brink of failure and launched the blog platform gschichten.com in 2014 (www.ica.at).

Within the ICC, the online shop www.4betterdays.com for products “Handmade in the Alps” was launched in August 2013. The shop went online later that same year and has since built up a range of over 5,000 products from more than 150 artisans. Since August 2013, 4betterdays.com GmbH has operated as an independent company and provides a digital home for more than 150 small and medium-sized enterprises.

Elmar is married and the father of three daughters.
