The figures are made from \u003cstrong\u003euntreated maple wood\u003c\/strong\u003e. They are first rough-carved using a manually operated carving machine, then individually sanded and inspected. The Holy Family figure is also available in \u003cstrong\u003esatin-finished cherry wood\u003c\/strong\u003e, which effectively highlights the most important figure in the nativity scene.\u003cbr\u003eThe stable consists of a base plate and two interlocking arches that suggest walls and a roof. The back of the base has a straight edge, allowing it to be \u003cstrong\u003eplaced flush against a wall to save space\u003c\/strong\u003e. 30 points of light provide \u003cstrong\u003esubtle, even lighting\u003c\/strong\u003e with a \u003cstrong\u003ewarm, pleasant glow\u003c\/strong\u003e.
