The automatic window opener is suitable as an addition to our raised bed incl. cold frame attachment. No power connection or batteries are required, as the piston is filled with a special oil-wax mixture, which expands when heated. This automatically opens or closes the lid. The entire construction is made of rust-proof material and all mounting materials for installation in our cold frame attachment are included.

Note: Our cold frame attachment has 2 windows - Since the automatic window opener is primarily used to ensure sufficient air supply and to prevent condensation in the cold frame, installation on one window is sufficient. If both windows are to be equipped with the automatic opener, 2 window openers must be purchased. Of course, the window opener can also be installed later.  


However, in winter it should be removed to avoid frost damage.
