  • Practical handrail for a neat finish and additional storage space
  • Dimpled membrane for optimum weather protection

Versatile slot-together system - The raised bed consists of modular units that can be easily connected to one another. There are sturdily routed corner posts on all four sides, into which the side panels slide, allowing for quick and secure assembly. The slot-together system offers great flexibility, and you can expand or reconfigure the raised bed at any time.
From the basic module, which fits even on a small patio, to a large corner raised bed, anything is possible with the same system.
There is a practical handrail on top of the raised bed, which not only provides an attractive finish but also serves as a convenient surface for setting things down. This top board creates an appealing look and perfectly completes the overall appearance of the raised bed.
The extension module lets you lengthen your existing raised bed. With the supplied side panels, frame boards and top boards, you can easily extend a basic module to create a rectangular bed. We can also create custom solutions on request.

The spruce wood used is a popular choice for raised beds because it is affordable, readily available and easy to work with. It often comes from local forests, making it a sustainable option. If needed, you can treat the raised bed with a wood-preserving stain to extend its service life.

Our infinitely expandable Modul modular raised bed offers a flexible, durable solution for growing herbs and plants in the garden. The modular system lets you tailor the raised bed to your individual needs and available space.

Accessories:

  • Dimpled membrane: To protect the wood from moisture and prevent it from coming into contact with organic material, the inside of the raised bed's side walls is lined with dimpled membrane. This helps regulate moisture and promotes healthy plant growth. The membrane is easy to fit and is a perfect fit for the raised bed.
  • Vole mesh: This mesh is laid across the bottom of the raised bed and prevents voles from getting into the plants' root zone. This helps ensure you can enjoy your harvest without worry.
  • Screw and dowel set: All the necessary wooden dowels, strips and screws are included in the set.

The high-quality spruce components are quick and easy to connect, while practical accessories such as dimpled membrane and vole mesh provide additional protection against moisture and rodents.

Enjoy the benefits of a functional and attractive raised bed that will bring you years of enjoyment.

How do I fill my raised bed correctly?

  • Once the raised bed has been assembled and the vole protection and dimpled membrane have been fitted, you can fill the raised bed.
  • Start with a layer of wood about 25 cm thick at the very bottom – branches, twigs, shrub clippings or even tree roots. Cover with a little soil.
  • Add a layer of wood chippings about 10–15 cm thick. Use thin branches or finely chopped wood. Add a layer of cardboard to speed up the start of decomposition.
  • Add about 10–15 cm of well-rotted stable manure or horse manure.
  • This can also be replaced with partially decomposed compost.
  • Add about 20 cm of coarse compost or soil.
  • Finally, fill it to the brim with garden soil

You should rebuild the raised bed after 4–6 years.
