Warming in winter and pleasantly cooling in summer—alpaca wool stores your body heat while simultaneously protecting you from cold or heat from the outside. The fibers are almost as soft as cashmere, and their particularly high quality is characterized by a silky, healthy sheen.

The summer duvet with 100% alpaca fleece from local animals is available in the standard sizes 140x200 cm and 135x200 cm, as well as in the extra lengths 140x220 cm and 135x220 cm. A layer of high-quality fleece made from alpaca wool fibers is snug and cooling during the warm season, losing nothing of the positive properties of a thicker blanket. The classic mono format with an external border, high-quality cotton cover, and a layer of 100% alpaca fleece offers balanced weight and volume. The optimal thermoregulation counteracts excessive sweating and enables an enormous increase in sleeping comfort. Moisture is absorbed and wicked away. Production & Manufacturing

The manufacturer from Austria is very strict about animal welfare. For us, fair means that the alpacas can also live under fair conditions. This is also noticeable in the quality. While products made of alpaca wool can be found very cheaply, the animals very often pay the price for that. We have chosen a producer and manufacturer who cares deeply about animal welfare. Some of the shearing is still done by hand, and a stress-free handling of the animals is ensured without exception. A large part also comes from their own breeding. In total, the fibers originate exclusively from selected, strictly controlled farms in Austria and Germany. The animals in the pictures are truly the actual suppliers for your new comfort duvet.

Before processing, the natural wool is cleaned by hand and using biological methods. Then, the material is refined into a unique quality product through handcrafted manufacturing.

Care instructions

Alpaca fibers are antibacterial, odor-neutral, and remain fresh on their own with very little effort. The fibers are so smooth that hardly any dirt, bacteria, or house dust mites can settle. The low lanolin content allows for a chemical-free preparation during production. These gently manufactured products made from alpaca hair are therefore absolutely allergy-friendly.

To ensure it remains a genuine natural product, we recommend airing out the duvets & pillows well every day. Please note not to hang the high-quality bedding in direct sunlight. The cover can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary. In case of heavy soiling, it is best to leave it in the hands of a professional cleaner for natural fibers.

Storage

All products containing alpaca wool should be well-ventilated but stored safely away from moths. You should store your duvet in the provided bag when it is not in use. Together with a lavender sachet, your alpaca products are optimally protected from unwanted pests.
