Summer duvet/bedspread “Summer Heat” made from sheep’s new wool for summer

The natural quilt, or duvet, made from sheep’s wool absorbs moisture very well and wicks it away. This helps ensure a good, healthy sleeping climate in every season. This is essential for a restful sleep and for your body to regenerate undisturbed overnight. This quilt is filled with the finest virgin sheep’s wool. And it has a lot to offer: It is highly resilient, meaning your duvet always stays soft and airy. It also has the outstanding quality that has made sheep’s wool products so popular for generations: it is self-cleaning! In addition, virgin sheep’s wool helps regulate moisture levels. These properties create the wonderful sleeping climate that sets this quilt apart: It feels pleasantly cool in summer, while the wool keeps you warm in winter. In a word: year-round sleeping comfort at the highest level!
As standard, the quilt is hand-tied, with just a few stitches securing the loose wool fleece inside the cotton cover to prevent it from shifting.


On request, we also make quilts featuring a sheep motif quilted into the fabric instead of the hand-tied finish.


The quilts are not suitable for machine washing. However, airing them outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine has a beneficial, antibacterial effect and can revitalize the wool fibers. This is also very helpful if the fibers lose some of their volume over time. It makes them soft and fluffy again.
