The scent of freshly baked bread alone can truly enchant a morning - It is a shame that this scent is so fleeting. Unless you store it in our Swiss stone pine bread box. Just as mountain farmers in the Alps have always done. Because Swiss stone pine is certainly the ideal wood for bread boxes.
Tip: The scent of the essential oils of the Swiss stone pine is very intense in new products. If you do not want the stored bread to absorb too much of the Swiss stone pine scent, simply leave the bread box open for a few days to 'air out'.
- Handcrafted in Austria
- with a practical inserting rack
- metal-free
- finely sanded and neatly finished
- straightforward delivery
The included Swiss stone pine inserting rack ensures optimal air circulation around the baked goods when closed.
Attention: To ensure an optimal moisture balance, it is absolutely necessary to ventilate the bread regularly. Ideally, open the bread box completely at least 2 times daily and regularly remove crumbs from the bread box itself and clean it with a dry cloth.
Care
Remove the slats from the bottom, empty the crumbs and wipe the box with a slightly damp cloth. By the way - our Swiss stone pine is preferably felled on ideal "felling days" and gently air-dried over years!

Cleaning
To clean the bread box, simply wiping it with a damp cloth is sufficient to maintain the self-cleaning effect of the natural wood. Cleaning the bread box with a damp cloth stimulates the intensity of the Swiss stone pine scent again. Please be sure to let the bread box dry properly before closing it and, if necessary, let it 'air out' again for a few days. For heavier soiling, the surface can be polished with very fine-grit sandpaper.
