Cape Cod Weeder for Left-Handed Users | 14 cm Ash Wood Handle | Free Sharpening Stone Included | 100% Handcrafted in Germany

Our Cape-Cod Weeder for Left-Handed Users is ideally suited for working on stony and hard surfaces with its sharp, narrow blade. The blade is slightly angled at the end and has an inner edge ground on the left side. When pulled horizontally, the blade penetrates the soil and cuts through stubborn weeds. Turned further downwards, the blade acts like a small plough and loosens the soil to a depth of approx. 10 cm. Definitely an effective tool for maintaining vegetable and perennial beds!

Material and Finish

The Cape-Cod Weeder fits very well in the left hand, as the handle is ergonomically shaped and the blade has been specially ground on the left side.

The handle

• Ash wood, lacquered

Ash is an ideal wood for use in high-quality garden tools, as it is very dense & hard. It is therefore sturdy and durable, as well as pleasant to the touch. The handle is also lacquered to better withstand moisture and dirt.

The blade

• Steel, hand-forged

The blade is made of hand-forged steel and is characterized by a precise grind.

Please note: For safety reasons, we are not allowed to deliver our cutting and chopping tools fully sharpened.
Caring for the cutting edge is particularly important with handcrafted tools - We have put together detailed instructions for peening & sharpening.
