Blunt colored pencils and graphite pencils are a thing of the past. Thanks to two different sharpening holes with a diameter of approx. 1 cm and 0.7 cm, it can sharpen both thick and thin graphite and colored pencils. The shavings are collected in the screw-top glass jar. The lid is made from pleasantly smooth-sanded beechwood. The wood is selected according to ecological criteria and comes from sustainably managed forests.
The double sharpener is made in Bavaria, in a workshop for people with disabilities. Each piece is lovingly made there with the utmost care. Skilled craftsmanship is the priority.

High-quality & precise blades
The blade is probably the most important part of a pencil sharpener. These blades come from a German company with a long tradition of making pencil-sharpener blades. The blades for the double sharpener are manufactured to a measurement tolerance of 5/100 mm. The steel is hardened to 64 HRC (Rockwell hardness). By comparison, these blades are sharper than premium kitchen knives. To protect against rust, the carbon steel is polished, cleaned using ultrasound, and then oiled. In short, the blades of this double sharpener are extremely sharp, precise, robust, and durable.
