Great importance is attached to quality, sustainability and ecological aspects when selecting materials. Production takes place in a traditional Austrian company.

Material and workmanship

100% cotton fabric

The organic cotton is spun and dyed in Italy & Portugal. Particular importance is attached to compliance with ecological standards. The endless threads are woven mechanically. Each individual thread is connected to the support ropes so that no thread can come loose and an even load distribution is ensured.

Sturdy support ropes made of an elastic polyester blend

Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we have to use plastic for the support rope. The support rope consists of a UV- and weather-resistant polyester blend. This makes the rope abrasion-resistant and gives it a high load capacity.

Practical fixing poles

The fixing poles prevent the hammock from folding together. The wood is sourced from regional forestry. This not only means that the wood is harvested under strict control, but also avoids high CO2 emissions thanks to short transport routes.
