Elmar the Swiss Pine Dragon | filled with 100% pure Swiss pine shavings | Handmade in Austria Height 28 cm

Elmar the Swiss Pine Dragon is a cuddly toy filled with fine Swiss pine shavings. A small family business based in Styria makes our cuddly toys by hand, with great attention to detail. Our managing director is the namesake of this fragrant cuddly dragon. Dragons, incidentally, have very good eyesight and are wise, though sometimes they breathe fire, too. As the founder of a sustainable online shop, that's occasionally necessary to hold our own against large companies with a green vision. Elmar made a conscious decision to act with the future in mind many years ago. Even today, we know that the rocky road has been worth it — because it's the only way we can create better days for all of us again!

The Swiss pine filling releases a wonderfully resinous fragrance that evokes a forest, freshly cut wood and being out in nature. The Swiss pine cuddly toy can also help keep pesky insects away from little ones, as they avoid the essential oils. The perfect gift for children looking for a special cuddly toy!  !

Recommended age

The cuddly toy is filled by hand with wood shavings and securely sewn shut. Nevertheless, we recommend it for ages 3 and up. Swiss pine is not toxic if swallowed, but the risk of choking cannot be ruled out, especially for young children.

Tip: Spending time in dry, heated rooms can cause the cuddly toy to lose its fragrance more quickly. To extend its life and revive the scent, place it outside in a sheltered spot for a few hours during damp weather, or put it in the bathroom after a shower. The Swiss pine fragrance generally lasts at least 10–14 months. If needed, the filling can be replaced with fresh shavings or scented with high-quality Swiss pine oil.

Care instructions: The cuddly toy can easily be cleaned by hand with a damp cloth. If the stuffed toy does need to go in the washing machine, only the cover may be washed. Simply open the seam on the belly and remove all the Swiss pine shavings. Once dry, refill with fresh shavings.

You can order a suitable refill from our shop at any time.
