Natural-fiber doormat | Sisal | Natural latex | Various styles | 100% natural materials

Sisal is one of the world's most important natural fibers. The fibers are obtained from the leaves of certain agaves. The natural fiber is extremely tough and strong, and compared to other fibers, sisal has an unusual stiffness and resistance to microbial infestation .

Due to increasing competition from synthetic fibers, the raw material gradually lost importance from the mid-1960s onwards. Now its popularity is growing more and more, and sisal is once again in high demand in modern designs.

The properties of sisal and the natural latex coating are perfect for 100% natural doormats.

Tip: The doormat contains neither petroleum nor plasticizers.

Even before entering the home, a 100% natural doormat welcomes human and animal guests. The natural latex coating on the underside ensures that the mat remains non-slip and absorbs dirt and moisture well. The structure and properties of sisal make it easy to scrape dirt off shoes. Elegantly framed and protected from fraying, the mat is finished with a black velour tape made from 100% cotton. The sisal doormat with natural latex coating is therefore not only functional but also an eye-catcher. With the matching printed message, the entrance area gets a very personal touch.

The eco-sisal mat is ideal for use in entrance areas to keep dirt and moisture from shoes at bay, and is also suitable for allergy sufferers, as it contains no synthetic materials.

Care instructions:
In most cases, it is sufficient to clean a sisal mat with a vacuum cleaner without a brush attachment. The brush would wear down the fibers too much over time and thin them out. Deep-seated dirt is removed by regularly beating the mat.
Never clean sisal with water. Water causes the fiber to swell and can lead to severe shrinkage.
