The hand rake is made of ash wood and is ergonomically designed. Ash is an ideal wood for use in high-quality garden tools. It is stable and durable, as well as pleasant to the touch. The wood is lacquered to protect it against moisture and dirt.

Ash wood

Ash grows across almost all of Europe, especially in the northern Alpine foothills. Along with beech and oak, it is one of the most important deciduous utility woods. Ash wood is very dense and hard, yet it can be easily worked due to its high elasticity. Thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, ash is used in many areas. For example, in musical instrument making, equipment manufacturing, sports equipment, and also tool handles.
