The ‘Woolful’ rug is handwoven in Tyrol and made from 100% virgin wool, with no added chemicals! You can choose your own rug from a range of sizes and colors. You can also choose whether you would like your ‘Woolful’ felted or unfelted. Find out more below. We can also provide custom sizes and accommodate color preferences on request, as every rug (including standard sizes) is made individually.

Felting
Felting rugs compacts the fibers, creating a smooth, dense surface. Felting is especially useful for rugs in living and dining areas, as it makes it easy to remove any crumbs.

Care
To help your rug last for many years, here are a few care tips:

• You can easily vacuum your sheepskin rug. (Please do not use a beater-bar vacuum.)
• Sheepskin rugs should be rotated and turned over about 3–4 times a year.
• Carefully trim any wool fibers protruding from the underside of the rug with scissors.
• Lay it in the snow in winter and beat it out thoroughly.
• Wash stains with curd soap or a solution made with wool detergent; repeat if necessary.
• Have it professionally cleaned if it is heavily soiled.
