A long-established forge with over 200 years of experience makes these wonderful tools by hand. This family-run forge is committed to producing exceptionally durable tools that are perfectly suited to the job. High-quality steel and ash wood were used. Working the steel at very
high temperatures makes it easy to shape and prevents material waste. This values-driven approach to manufacturing also makes a significant contribution to protecting the environment. The 'Krafts' potting scoop fits very comfortably in your hand. The ash wood handle is sturdy and ergonomically shaped. The scoop blade is made of hand-forged steel.

Ash wood

Ash grows throughout almost all of Europe, especially in the northern foothills of the Alps. Along with beech and oak, it is one of the most important hardwoods. Ash wood is very dense and hard, yet its high elasticity makes it easy to work with. Thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, ash is used in a wide range of applications, including musical instrument making, equipment manufacturing, sporting goods and tool handles.

The scoop handle
The handle of the 'Krafts' scoop is made of ash wood and ergonomically designed. Ash is an ideal wood for high-quality garden tools. It is sturdy and durable, as well as pleasant to the touch. The wood is varnished to help protect it from moisture and dirt.

The potting scoop is made of high-quality steel that is exceptionally durable thanks to its special treatment.
