Materials and workmanship

The garden knife is made from first-class raw materials by experienced craftspeople. The handle is made of ash wood, ergonomically shaped and comfortable to hold. The knife is made of high-quality Swedish steel.

For safety reasons, the blade is not sharpened. We recommend sharpening the knife with the included sharpening stone before first use.
Instructions for sharpening and honing garden tools are included. 

Ash wood

Ash trees grow throughout most of Europe, especially in the northern foothills of the Alps. Along with beech and oak, ash is one of the most important hardwoods. Ash wood is very dense and hard, yet its high elasticity makes it easy to work with. Thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, ash is used in many fields, including musical instrument making, equipment manufacturing, sports equipment and tool handles.
