Hanging bench 'Swing Times Light' | made of solid larch | L 150 × D 74 × H 56 cm | incl. 3 seat cushions | handmade in Austria

‘Back and forth and back again’ all day long. Anyone who sits in ‘Swing Time Light’ won’t want to get out again any time soon. The bench can be hung outdoors, ideally protected from rain and snow, or indoors, for example in galleries or conservatories. The old-fashioned porch swing is nice too, but it can’t compare with the elegant design, and above all the durability and exceptionally high-quality craftsmanship. In a way, it’s the porch swing of the old mountain farmers. Heidi and the Alm-Öhi would have loved it.

We offer the bench in local larch. Larch is a good choice because its weather resistance means it can be hung both indoors and outdoors. For ecological and regional reasons, we do not use tropical woods. We’d be happy to offer other types of wood on request.

• Larch wood
• Various suspension options
• Ergonomically shaped
• Seats 3 people
• Seat cushion included
• Made in Austria

The ‘Swing Times Light’ hanging bench is a beautiful piece of furniture that everyone who sees it will want to sit on. Here you get genuine craftsmanship in a solid construction. It is ergonomically shaped and therefore very comfortable. Its style is reminiscent of an old classic bench. The curved seat gives it a light appearance and makes you want to sit down straight away. Three adults can swing and snuggle up comfortably on it.

And it’s ready to use anywhere—in the garden, living room or conservatory. It looks great wherever you put it and creates a cheerful mood.

Materials and craftsmanship

The solid wood ‘Swing Times Light’ bench is made from solid larch. The entire frame is built from exceptionally sturdy planks. This makes the bench very stable and highly rigid. The solid slats that make up the seat and backrest are firmly attached to the frame. Despite its truly solid construction, this bench looks very elegant. The frame is expertly dowelled and glued. All this guarantees a very long service life.

This bench is made by a small family business in the Alps. Experienced master craftspeople put all their knowledge of wood and its craftsmanship into every piece. The result is a durable piece of furniture that retains its value. Larch, too, is a special wood that is often used for outdoor furniture.

On request, we can make the ‘Swing Times Light’ hanging bench from your choice of wood and to a custom length.

Larch

We have also left the larch untreated, as it is highly weather-resistant. Larch is traditionally used outdoors because it also withstands moisture very well. Untreated larch darkens slightly over time. Outdoors, larch takes on an elegant silvery-grey character.
