Raised Bed / Planter 'Industrial Look' | Rust Finish | incl. Intermediate Shelf | Durable | Length 125, 150 or 170 cm | Made in Germany

Raised Bed / Planter 'Industrial Look' impresses with its modern design and makes working easier, as bending over and kneeling are things of the past.. At approx. 30 cm deep, there is a perforated intermediate floor. This means less material is needed for filling, no waterlogging occurs, and thus it offers optimal conditions for herbs and vegetables.

• long-lasting and weather-resistant due to rust-patinated metal
• water can drain through the perforated intermediate floor
• made in the Bavarian Forest
• highly resistant to corrosion
• no discoloration due to special treatment of the metal

The Raised Bed / Planter 'Industrial Look' is manufactured in a metal and wood design manufactory based in the Bavarian Forest.

Around 30 creative minds, from designers and finishers to carpenters, work together as a team in various areas and departments, thus creating unique and meticulously crafted metal products by hand. Great importance is placed on regionality and in-house production.

When producing rust-patinated metal, cleaned steel and iron are immersed in a bluing solution. The outermost layer of the metal is altered in the process. The process increases the resistance to corrosion and improves the aesthetic appearance of all metal parts used.

Filling - use correspondingly less material due to the intermediate floor

• After the raised bed is assembled, you can also fill it.

• At the very bottom, approx. 25 cm of thick 'wood core' – this consists of branches, twigs, shrub waste, or also tree stumps. Cover with a little soil.

• Approx. 10 - 15 cm layer of shredded material. Thin branches or very finely cut wood. A layer of cardboard to accelerate the start of decomposition.

• Approx. 10 - 15 cm of decomposed stable manure or horse manure.

• Can also be replaced by semi-decomposed compost.

• Approx. 20 cm of coarse compost or soil.

• Finally, fill it to the brim with garden soil
