Organic waste is too good to throw away. Kitchen waste, garden and grass cuttings no longer need to be disposed of; simply throw the organic material into the composter and wait. In a composter , the apparent waste is transformed through chemical processes and with the great help of microorganisms and animals into nutrient-rich humus. The compost material is suitable for improving soil properties, and as mature compost, the humus is a valuable fertilizer.
The ‘Zero Waste’ wooden composter is lovingly and with the utmost care crafted by people with disabilities in a sheltered workshop, involving a lot of manual work. This makes each of our wooden composters unique.
‘Zero Waste’ is made of solid spruce, reinforced with threaded rods, and designed so that the individual side panels can be removed and reinserted.

Tip: The compost fertilizer makes the use of additional fertilizers unnecessary.

The traditional ‘Zero Waste’ wooden composter made of solid spruce wood is quickly assembled using a slot-in system. Its sturdy construction results from the four interconnected and galvanized threaded rods. ‘Zero Waste’ is easy to assemble and very sturdy and flexible.

Thanks to the convenient standing height, filling is very easy on the back. The individual side panels can be removed individually. This is very practical when removing the humus. With the shovel, the fertilizer soil is simply removed from below as far as the conversion process is complete. The small animal helpers that are removed from the composter also support the soil quality at the new destination. Then the removed side panels are reassembled - and you're done.

The wood is selected according to ecological criteria and comes from sustainable forestry. The wooden composter is manufactured in Bavaria, in a workshop for people with disabilities. There, each piece is lovingly & with the utmost care crafted. Craftsmanship is the main focus here.

Tip: The untreated wooden composter can be stained or varnished as desired.
