Especially young children cannot yet regulate their body temperature independently, which is why a thermoregulating children's duvet made from high-quality natural hair is recommended for a restful night's sleep. The problem with blankets filled with sheep's wool is that they may not be suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin. Alpaca, on the other hand, is naturally hypoallergenic. Its very low lanolin content prevents bacteria and dust mites from settling in. Production and manufacturing

The Austrian manufacturer takes animal welfare very seriously. For us, fair means that the alpacas can also live under fair conditions. This is also reflected in the quality. Although alpaca wool products are available very cheaply, the animals often pay the price. We have chosen a producer and manufacturer that cares deeply about animal welfare. In some cases, the animals are still shorn by hand, and an entirely stress-free approach is ensured. A large proportion also comes from their own breeding. Overall, the fibres come exclusively from carefully selected, strictly controlled farms in Austria and Germany. The animals in the pictures are indeed the real suppliers of your new comfort blanket.

Before processing, the natural wool is cleaned by hand using an organic method. Then, using a special process, the material is refined into a unique, high-quality product by hand.

Care instructions

Alpaca fibres are antibacterial and odour-neutral and stay fresh with very little effort. The fibres are so smooth that it is difficult for dirt, bacteria or dust mites to settle in. The low lanolin content allows for chemical-free processing during manufacturing. These carefully made alpaca hair products are therefore completely suitable for people with allergies.
 
To ensure that it remains a genuine natural product, we recommend airing the duvet well every day. Please do not hang the high-quality bedding in direct sunlight. The cover can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary. In case of heavy soiling, it is best to leave it in the hands of a professional natural-fibre cleaner.

Storage

All products made from alpaca wool should be well aired and kept safe from moths. You should store your duvet in the included bag when it is not in use. Together with a lavender sachet, your alpaca products are perfectly protected from unwanted pests.
