The Premium pillow with 100% alpaca filling in the standard size of 80 x 40 cm is filled with high-quality alpaca fleece from domestic animals. Natural rubber mats provide shape and can be individually adjusted. The optimal thermoregulation helps prevent excessive sweating and provides a huge increase in sleep comfort. Moisture is absorbed and transported away. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, the high-quality head pillow is also the perfect choice for allergy sufferers.

Production & Manufacturing

The manufacturer from Austria takes animal welfare very seriously. For us, fair means that the alpacas can also live under fair conditions. This is also noticeable in the quality. While alpaca wool products are already available very cheaply, unfortunately, the animals often pay the price. We have chosen a producer and manufacturer who cares very much about animal welfare. Some of the animals are still shorn themselves, and exceptional stress-free handling is ensured. A large part also comes from their own breeding. Overall, the fibers come exclusively from carefully selected, strictly controlled farms in Austria and Germany.

Before processing, the natural wool is cleaned by hand using organic methods. Then, with the help of a special process, the material is refined into a unique, high-quality product in a workshop setting.

Care instructions

Alpaca fibers are antibacterial, odor-neutral, and stay fresh with minimal effort. The fibers are so smooth that dirt, bacteria, or dust mites can hardly settle on them. The low wool fat content allows for chemical-free processing during manufacturing. These gently manufactured products made from alpaca hair are therefore absolutely allergy-friendly.
 
To ensure that it remains a genuine natural product, we recommend airing your duvets & pillows daily. Please note that the high-quality bedding should not be hung in direct sunlight. The cover can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary. In case of heavy soiling, it is best to leave it in the hands of a professional natural hair cleaner.

Storage

All products made with alpaca wool should be kept well-ventilated but safely protected from moths. You should store your pillow in the included bag when it is not in use. Together with a lavender sachet, your alpaca products are perfectly protected.
