The ‘Warm Home’ rug is handwoven in Tyrol and made from 100% new wool, with no added chemicals! You can choose your personal rug from a range of sizes and colors. Our ‘Warm Home’ is available in a fulled finish. Find out more below. We can also make custom sizes and accommodate color requests on request, as every rug (including standard sizes) is individually made.

Fulled finish
Fulling rugs compacts the texture, creating a smooth, tightly woven surface. Fulling is particularly useful for rugs in living and dining areas, as crumbs can then be easily removed.

Care

To help you enjoy your rug for a long time, here are a few care tips

• You can easily clean sheep’s wool rugs with a vacuum cleaner. (Please do not use a beater-bar vacuum.)
• Sheep’s wool rugs should be rotated and turned over about 3–4 times a year.
• Carefully trim any wool fibers protruding from the underside of the rug with scissors.
• Lay it out in the snow in winter and beat it thoroughly.
• Wash stains with curd soap or a solution of wool detergent; repeat if necessary.
• Have it professionally cleaned if it is heavily soiled.
