A historically significant forge crafts these wonderful tools by hand. The family-run forge, in operation for 200 years, has the particularly high standard of producing extremely long-lasting tools that are optimally suited for work. High-quality steel and ash wood are used. Through value-oriented production, a major contribution is also made to our environment. Pure sustainability, indeed. A great side effect is that the tools are beautiful to look at.

The coarse, dark grey stone is used to treat unevenness and for rough grinding of blades and edges. The fine, light grey stone is used for resharpening and honing the tools and provides the final polish.

Application

Our TYROLIT life whetstone is suitable for grinding and sharpening common tools, such as hoes, shovels, spades, sickles, scythes, tree and garden shears, and axes. The stones can be used both dry and wet, although wet application leads to a significantly better result.
