A folding bed saves up to 4 m² of living space per bed during the day. Depending on personal requirements, 1-2 rooms can be saved with a folding bed solution. Cost-benefit calculation for an extra bed for commercial use
The useful life for the extra bed was assumed to be 10 years in total (AfA depreciation period), whereby the investment pays off after 2.6 years. The remaining 7.4 years are additional profit for other investments, which could be achieved through the extra bed.
Inflation affects both the additional revenue in the form of the price increase, as well as the return. Therefore, this results in a zero-sum game and is not taken into account.
