A tradition-rich forge with over 200 years of experience produces this wonderful tool by hand. The family-run forge has the exceptionally high standard of producing extremely durable tools that are perfectly suited for work. High-quality steel and ash wood were used. Through processing at very high temperatures, the steel can be easily shaped, and material waste is avoided.
The value-oriented production also makes a significant contribution to our environment.
A nice side effect is that the tools are also beautiful to look at.

Material and workmanship

The hand trowel from the 'Krafts kids' line was manufactured in one of Europe’s oldest family businesses.
Crafted from first-class raw materials and by experienced artisans, this tool is a testament to true quality. The handle, consisting of ash wood, is ergonomically shaped and fits well in the hand.

Ash grows almost all over Europe, especially in the northern Alpine foothills. Alongside beech and oak, it is one of the most important deciduous timber trees. Ash wood is very dense and hard, yet it is easy to work with due to its high elasticity. Because of its outstanding mechanical properties, ash is used in many areas. For example, in musical instrument making, equipment construction, sports equipment, and also tool handles.
