A traditional forge with over 200 years of experience handcrafts these wonderful tools. The family-run forge has the particularly high standard of producing extremely durable tools that are optimally suited for working. High-quality steel and ash wood were used. By working at very high temperatures, the steel can be shaped well, and material losses are avoided.

Ash grows in almost all of Europe, especially in the northern Alpine foothills. Along with beech and oak, it is one of the most important deciduous utility woods. The wood of the ash is very dense and hard, yet it can be well worked due to its high elasticity. Thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, ash is used in many areas. For example, musical instrument making, equipment manufacturing, sports equipment, and also tool handles.
