With this small sickle made from premium steel and featuring a sturdy, lacquered ash handle, you can look forward to lawn work in those spots that the lawn mower simply can’t reach—or where you don’t want it to go. Our small sickle is a real problem-area remover. That makes it truly lovable. But be careful: the sickle’s blade is sharp and was once also used as a weapon, for example during the Tyrolean Rebellion of 1809. Before using it for the first time, seek expert advice so you can use the sickle safely and effectively. If necessary, take a course to learn the proper technique, including how to sharpen and peen the sickle. After use, do not clean the sickle with water; instead, use a cleaning cloth intended for this purpose (an old T-shirt works well, too). Cleaning it with water will cause the blade to lose its sharpness.
