The tools were made by experienced craftsmen in one of Europe's oldest family businesses. And when we talk about experience, we mean it. Over 200 years of experience speak for themselves when it comes to quality. Every tool was made by hand! No plastic. No chemicals. No cheap sheet metal.

A traditional forge with over 200 years of experience makes this wonderful tool by hand. The family-run forge has particularly high standards and is committed to producing extremely durable tools. High-quality steel and ash wood are used. Working at very high temperatures makes the steel easy to shape and prevents material waste. This value-oriented production also makes a major contribution to protecting the environment. A pleasant side effect is that the tools are also beautiful to look at. Not only durable, high-quality, and functional, but also extremely attractive.

Material and workmanship

The spade from the 'Krafts kids' line was made in one of Europe's oldest family businesses. Made from first-class raw materials by experienced craftsmen, this tool is a true testament to quality. The ash wood handle is ergonomically shaped and fits comfortably in the hand.

Materials used
Ash wood

Ash grows across almost all of Europe, especially in the northern Alpine foothills. Along with beech and oak, it is one of the most important deciduous woods used for practical purposes. Ash wood is very dense and hard, yet its high elasticity makes it easy to work with. Its excellent mechanical properties mean that ash is used in many areas, including musical instruments, equipment manufacturing, sports equipment, and tool handles.

The spade handle
The handle of the 'Krafts kids' spade is made of ash wood and is ergonomically designed. Ash is an ideal wood for high-quality garden tools. It is strong, durable, and pleasant to the touch. The wood is varnished to provide better protection against moisture and dirt.

The spade blade
The spade blade is made of high-quality steel and hand-forged.
