Materials used
Ash wood

Ash grows almost throughout Europe, especially in the northern Alpine foothills. Along with beech and oak, it is one of the most important deciduous utility woods. The wood of the ash is very dense and hard, yet it can be well worked due to its high elasticity. Due to the excellent mechanical properties, ash is used in many areas. For example, musical instrument making, equipment manufacturing, sports equipment and also tool handles.

The universal axe handle
